衝撃に次ぐ衝撃!

 

先日1月17日にPhantom3生産中止の記事をアップしてからわずか2日後の本日、Phantom4も生産中止が決定されたとのニュースがsUAS Newsに載ったのです。

同記事によると、DJIが各ディーラーに対して以下のメールを送ったとのことです。

Hi Dealers

This is an update as of this morning on DJI Products.
DJI製品に関する今朝時点での最新状況です。

DJI Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro Combo
Although production is releasing more and more crafts, DJI have announced that they are withholding all production to service their own clients on DJI.COM until the end of January 2017.
生産ラインではますます多くの製品を生産していますが、1月末までDJIは全ての生産ラインをDJI.COMの顧客のために確保します。

The end of January 2017 is Chinese New Year, where we can expect a 2 to 3 week break in production, so it does not look good for us. At this stage, Please warn your customers that the Stock of the Mavic Pro and the Mavic Pro Combo is severely limited, but we hope that by March 2017 DJI get to the point where they have sufficient production.
2017年1月末は中国の旧正月シーズンにあたるため、生産設備も２、３週間の稼動停止が予想されるという好ましくない状況が予想されます。各ディーラーの皆様におかれましては、現時点では、Mavic Pro並びにMavic Pro Comboの在庫が非常に限られた状態になるという点をお客様各位にご連絡していただくようお願いいたします。我々DJIとしましては2017年3月までには十分な生産を確保できる状態になると期待しています。

DJI Phantom 4
The Phantom 4 production is terminated. We still have some stock left.
Phantom4の生産は終了しました。しかしながらまだ在庫が残っています。

DJI Phantom 3 Advanced and Professional
The Phantom 3 Advanced and Professional production is terminated.
Phantom3 AdvancedとProfessionalの生産は終了しました。（注:これが上記関連記事でお伝えした内容です。）

Phantom 4 Pro and Pro Plus
Once DJI get the Mavic Pro production sorted out, the consumer drones will be limited to the Mavic Pro, the Phantom 4 Pro and the Phantom 4 Pro Plus.
Mavic Proの生産ラインを整理次第、コンシューマー向けドローンのラインナップは、 Mavic Pro、Phantom4 Pro、Phantom4 Pro Plusの3つになります。

ということでこういう連絡が各販売店にされたということは、生産中止は本当のことでしょう。

Phantom4は2016年3月にリリース。

そして生産中止が発表されたのが2017年1月。

わずか11ヶ月という短命で生産ラインから姿を消すことになります。

これで今後のDJIのコンシューマー向けドローンのラインナップは

Phantom4 Pro (2016年12月リリース)

Inspire2  (2016年12月リリース)

Mavic Pro (2016年10月リリース)

Inspire1 (2014年12月リリース)

の4モデルになります。

こうして見てみるとInspire1もInspire2がリリースされたことで近いうちに生産中止が発表されるのかもしれませんね。
